2014 Housing Credit Connect Conference - National Council of State Housing Agencies

A huge exhibit of national affordable housing products and services will be part of this upcoming event – 2014 Housing Credit Connect – along with 40 interactive sessions and networking opportunities. Sponsored by the National Council of State Housing Agencies, this event is geared toward agencies that allocate housing credit and other industry partners such as federal officials, affordable housing developers, lenders, investors, nonprofits, property managers and service provides. Forums, round tables and panel discussions will look at development, finance, management and compliance, and keynote speaker Eric Belsky, from the Harvard University Joint Center for Housing Studies, will share updated information on affordable housing needs, recent trends in the housing market and policy issues associated with Housing Credit.
Topics include potential tax reforms, possible legislative action, market trends in equity, how to preserve a Housing Credit portfolio and state policy initiatives. A basic training for new professionals, Housing Credit 101, will also be offered and will cover program rules, eligibility, credit calculations, structuring deals, compliance and more.
