2015 National Cohousing Conference
MAY 29, 2015 - 3:00 PM to MAY 31, 2015 - 12:00 PM ET
Cohousing is intentional, collaborative housing where residents actively participate in the design and operation of their communities. This May, the Cohousing Association of the United States is holding their annual conference. This year's conference has an impressive lineup of offerings, from innovative approaches to developing new and affordable communities, to potent ways to enhance already vibrant communities. Specifically, it will cover cohousing basics - intentional, collaborative housing where residents actively participate in the design and operation of their communities - as well as hot topics in sustainability, community building, and the evolving definition of cohousing. It will also check-in with now-adult children of cohousing, explore the next wave of urban, rural and senior housing, consider emerging trends in financing, design and community models, discuss how cohousing could be a model for other neighborhoods, and celebrate communities that have thrived for over 20 years.
