Creating Great Neighborhoods

This gathering of community leaders will focus on strategies for building vibrant, healthy and affordable neighborhoods via “Place Capital” -- unlocking potential for growth, creating transformation through action, and focusing on place-making. Speakers include Fred Kent from Project for Public Spaces, Governor Deval Patrick, Mayor Thomas Menino, Richard Walker from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Melinda Marble from the Barr Foundation and George McCarthy from the Ford Foundation.
