LOCATION:
University of Delaware - Center for Community Research and Service. Community Service Building, Room 105

Leadership skills are critical in the nonprofit world, but equally important is the ability to use your creativity to solve problems, encourage innovation and create effective solutions. This three-day course will provide tools to develop your capacity for innovation, which will inspire new approaches for your organization's programs.

Day 1 (April 20, 2012) of the training focuses on the creative process and products: the key to finding creative solutions is defining the problem and knowing how to generate new ideas and techniques.  Day 2 (April 27, 2012) will move from creative thinking to the process of innovation and examining the various ways of seeing a problem so you can create more appealing and effective program designs. Day 3 (May 4, 2012) will focus on how to lead others toward this culture of innovation and design creativity so the next generation of leaders can also think creatively when looking at designing new strategies.

The cost of the program is $400. Learn more
