Neighborhood Marketing to Rebuild Market Demand

In order to rebuild distressed areas, community stabilization efforts need to do more than restore the housing stock — they also need to make the case for investment by current and future homeowners and residents. Neighborhood brand development and marketing is an effective way to do just that. Join national experts and local practitioners at this session during the American Planning Association National Planning Conference for a discussion of best practices and lessons learned from the experience of 16 communities engaged in the NeighborWorks America Neighborhood Marketing Program. This session will offer models for improving stakeholder perceptions and building market demand in distressed neighborhoods.
