Upcoming online mini-courses through NeighborWorks America’s virtual classroom will focus on critical issues in the community development field. Topics include: property self-management, community benefit agreements, fundamentals of healthy housing and best methods for time management. In addition, a whole series on how to prepare for certification under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act will be offered which will cover housing affordability, fair housing, financial management, property maintenance, avoiding delinquency and responsibilities of homeowners.

 

The 90-minute online sessions are interactive and will help participants build skills. Participants can download course materials, tools and resources, plus get continuing education credits. :Arial;color:black'>nowing and understanding what creates emotional connections for people is important when considering stabilization and economic growth.  Specific details on each community’s analysis is available on the interactive map.
