NHN Learning Alliance Fair Housing Training Webinar
JULY 15, 2014 - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
Millions of acts of discrimination occur each year in rental, sales, lending and insurance situations, but only about 30,000 fair housing complaints are filed. The laws surrounding fair housing issues are complicated and can be overwhelming to housing counselors who may not know the particulars of the law or where to turn for help. To best serve those in need, housing counselors must fully understand the workings of Fair Housing Laws.
This online training – offered by the NCLR Homeownership Network Learning Alliance (NHNLA) – will help counselors provide full, qualified service and prevent discrimination and abuse. It will outline components of the law and provide details that counselors need to take action.
