Using Health Impact Assessments to Preserve Affordable Housing and Increase Community Well-Being

DECEMBER 4, 2014 - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET

The Center for Housing Policy, the research division of the National Housing Conference will be hosting a webinar on how health impact assessments can be used to preserve affordable housing and increase community well-being, with Phoenix, Arizona as a case example.

A public health professional, a housing authority director, and a funder will discuss how a Health Impact Assessment moved a Phoenix public housing rehab project from business-as-usual to an inclusive process that engages a neighborhood and charts a sustainable future for the residents.
