Wondering How Transit-Oriented Development Can Help When Resources Are Down?

Practitioners will learn how transit-oriented development and other sustainable development practices can help them deal with the economic recession and the subsequent lack of resources and limited public spending. The course, sponsored by PolicyLink, is called Budget-Oriented Development: Local Efforts to Overcome Fiscal Challenges and Create Sustainable Communities.  It will review the economic benefits of sustainable development and explore ways to coordinate housing and transportation goals. Speakers include:
