Rising to the Challenge: Using HUD's Neighborhood Stabilization Program

This workshop is a companion to Wednesday's symposium, Rising to the Challenge: Stabilizing Communities in the Wake of Foreclosure. It is designed for organizations looking for a deeper dive into HUD's Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). The workshop will present what NSP grantees consider when approving their partners. Special attention will be paid to the issues and challenges with NSP, and how organizations are overcoming these challenges. Examples of regional collaboration and branding and marketing the NSP effort will be discussed. The workshop will also present strategies that compliment the NSP effort and ensure a greater impact in target neighborhoods.
